: I am making my ergometer and don't know how to find a part. You can see the
: part on page 2 here/below: http://www.dansprint.com/data/files/Assembly
: %20instruction.pdf

: It is the 'twist-joint' that I am looking for.. what is the name for this
: thing? I've been searching everywhere and can't find such a thing on any
: websites. It would be for 1/4" rope and bungee.

: thanks

Hi Eric,
After looking at the pdf for a while, it finally dawned on me. That's a Sta-Lok type swage fitting or stay connector, as used for wire rigging on sailboats.

Not cheap though.

I'm not sure if it would be suitable for rope or bungee.

Hope this helps,
