Man I am absolutely amazed!! Lead an Eagle Watch paddle today. Saw 5 Bald Eagles BTW. When we got back I pulled the Rocket off the trailer to paddle around a bit. Still not float bags in it.

Wanted to try one of the guys air cushions in it. Instantly realized it had to have less air. Let a lot out and paddled around really struggling. Came back and pulled it out and tossed it back to him. So now I am just sitting on the floor boards.

AMAZING!! It's like a different boat. I knew CG was important and not that I didn't believe you guys. But it is just amazing at how much difference approx 1/2" of height makes! I could actually paddle it without expecting to go swimming. Still not very stable in it but it was honestly like a different boat. The guys on the bank said they could see the difference watching me paddle it.

So, guess it's going to be a short trip boat and I am going to have to develop an iron bottom.
