I kept saying to myself. "Self, you built a little bitty boat there!"

It's going to take some getting used to but I think I am going to like this boat. The initial stability it not great compared to what I am used too. It feels very tippy! I thought I was going to dump it several times. The secondary stability is good but the water is almost coming over the coaming before it grabs so it scares you pretty good. Got to get a spray skirt for it.

One thing that really impressed me and Randy, it accelerates like a Rocket! At least compared to anything I have paddled. I am not a strong paddler but this boat felt like it was really fast. It was obvious that resistance was lower than my other boat. I could easily maintain a rather fast pace with it. Of course I was paddling by myself without another boat around to compare too. We had loaded our boats up from our trip and were testing this one.
