Kirk,

For hatch lips only, it doesn't seem like setting up for vacuum bagging would be worth it. Depending on how dissatisfied you are with your outcome, you may still be able to salvage it with some grinding (wet sanding with 80 or 100 grit) and then putting a cosmetic layer or two of 5oz carbon over that. A single layer of the 5oz will be a lot easier to put down than the 11oz.

Sam

: I tried molding hatch lips by weighting the carbon fiber down with sand and
: it didnt mold good at all.I think I wasted alot of carbon and epoxy.I used
: 11 oz carbon fiber,(it used alot of reson). I thought it would look good
: and be strong and light. Are there easy to do instrucions for vacum baging?
: Or should I give up and use fibber glass?
