Hi Rob,

I use a partial sheerclamp at the ends of the boats, makes it easier to attach the ends, then I only lightly tape the outside so the tape runs all the way down the sides of the hulls. Makes it easier to finish this way even though it's not needed strength wise. Since the abreviated sheer clamps are only about 3' long, the extra glass doesn't weigh all that much.
