If you're looking for lumber to cut your own strips, try: www.woodfinder.com/

If you're looking for pre-cut strips, do a google search for " cedar strips kayaks " and you'll find several suppliers.

If you're looking locally you need to look for Hardwood suppliers, even though it's not hardwood you're looking for, they are the ones that stock what you need.

Unless you're on one of the coasts some of the cedars can be tricky to find, yellow, alaskan and white cedars aren't always easy to come by. Red cedar should be available most everywhere.
