It would help to know where you are at and exactly what you are refering to when you say "wood". Shipping very long length of wood can be expensive. Buying finished strips can add to the cost as well. What you can contribute in terms of woodworking equipment and experience is another determinate as to how you should procede and how much your boat will cost.
