Hello,

I have around 50 30' leftover mahogany strips and a few WRC strips too. Any suggestions on what to do (additional strips may be needed). Would really like it to be a somewhat smaller project as my Wife is complaining about the current kayak in the guest-room, and also that it be water-related, although that is not mandatory.

My own thoughts are :
-Surfboard (i don't surf, so it could be for show-n-tell, or for a gift or ?). But does anybody sell the "ribs" pre-cut (for a faster build)? I only found drawings or complete kits ($$$) on www.
-A windsurfer-board, which is more popular here ind DK. We do not have big-waves here, but lots of wind. Ow! That kinda blew the idea about a "smaller" project.
-Could build a "strip-cradle-boat" (i have the book+drawings) but nobody in the family is expecting.
-Toolbox/closet/furniture - no thanks. Surface of the "object" must be a bit "curvy", which is what i really like about strip-building.
-Kids-kayak - i don't think so. Need to build something non-kayak.

Any other suggestions ?
