: Just like everyone else, I'm sure, I've been through every book and website I
: could find before starting to build my boat. I never saw that a
: "traditional", native made Greenland Kayak would ever have had
: bulkheads.

: I did see a couple websites with folks who successfully modernized their
: designs to include bulkheads. and they look pretty functional. But I'd be
: concerned with air flow and drying the boat out properly.

: I don't know... maybe I'm over thinking it! Gee, who would expect that on my
: first boat build!

: Anyway, from the helpful posts I've gotten in reply to my original msg, I'm
: leaning toward setting up a haul system to pull commercial bags in and out
: of the kayak. I'm paying close attention to the suggestions for securing
: the cords out of the way so I don't get hung up in a wet exit.

What's the first build got to do with it? I've been doing this for a long time and still have wild amounts of time involved in overthinking problems :)
Course on rare occasion all that thinking actually comes up with real solutions.
