Hi Guys
Below is a picture of the black bottom stuff I put on a last week: 3 pumps of epoxy (west), two heaping tablespoons of carbon, and one heaping table spoon of the thickiner (called caboxil??) A single coat got good coverage, but I need a thicker layup for better scrape protection... I'll get to that later in the summer. Hopefully this is enough to help, the epoxy alone (although with no varnish) just was not good enough.
Also this link: http://members.shaw.ca/myrlin/varnished01.jpg will show you the deck after vanish... please don't mind the clutter in my basement. The next big project is the clean up.
