No kidding! I spent last weekend cleaning my shop, and was pretty proud when I got it looking as good as Myrl's!!

No room to walk, no horizontal surfaces visible. Floor 1" deep in sawdust, wood shavings everywhere, 2 piles of studded snow tires, a whitewater kayak on the floor, tablesaw in the middle of one garage bay for ripping strips. Had to duck under the canoe strongback to get at the SOF, which was behind two other sawhorses cluttered with strips, planes, and glue.

P.S. Brian, my first SOF, finally. 18' x 18"; going as low as I think I can fit (I figure 9" from bottom of masik to keel). Going for all "free" wood on this one..."traditional style"...WRC apummaqs leftover from a siding job; straight WRC deckbeams (ajaaq) leftovers from another; curved deckbeams and maybe the masik from that red oak log from Oregon. Ribs from that or an oak pallet. I'll break down and buy the skin.
