Sort of, but not really.

A peaked deck is less stable when inverted, so makes it easier to initiate your roll...but given the same gunwale/sheer height, also more volume, and possibly less grip.

Greenlandic rolling kayaks, probably the easiest-to-roll design out there (designed for rolling competition, only...) have very low decks, almost dead flat, and relatively boxy (albeit small) cross-sections.
