This is a slight change of topic, but I think that it fits here. I have a layer of glass to feather and am a bit unclear what the process is. I used the tape trick to avoid frayed edges (trick learned after a very ugly hull exxperience). Now I am left with a fairly clean edge, and am not really sure what the best procedure to follow from here is. Should I knock down the edge a bit first, then fill coat, then sand it smooth? Or, should I do fill coats before I touch it? Please clarify the next step for me.
Thanks,
JJ
: I don't try to fill the weave, but another coat to fill any pinholes is a
: good idea. I usually apply the coat thin with a roller.
