Just finished glassing inside and out of my Guillemot Double. I put a second layer of glass behing the cockpits for additional strength for getting in and out of the yak. Is it necessary to put a fill coat on the inside of the deck?

PS. Patsy - I didn't have one bubble on the deck glass even with all that veneer. It looks like the using a second fill coat worked fine. Maybe a little extra weight, but at least no bubbles.
