Thanks, The only precaution I take is to wax the tubes, and occasionally
wash them down with water. In addition, I lubricate the inserts to prevent
corrosion. But, I'm talking about folding kayak frames. In addition, I don't
live near salt water, and paddle in those conditions only once or twice a year.
