I was thinking of a shallow slide ramp on my dock for launch and recovery, kind of like a floating beach. I saw a picture somewhere of a trick launch ramp, like a ski jump ramp for WW boats. The ramp was covered with a plastic bristle material. I have seen the same stuff at snow ski resorts to hold snow in place in the lift areas. I tried internet searches but can't seem to find info on the stuff. Does anybody know whats its called or have a source? Any other ideas for a suitable material? I dont want to use carpet because it holds mud & sand and grows algae.
