Hi all, Looking for a little advise on the cockpit coaming mounting. I have chosen to make the cockpit the same size as my guillemot e.s. I have installed mid cockpit supports. I like the look of the skin sewn to the inside of the rim.
Can I still sew to the inside or am I asking for trouble when I want to sew the cockpit to the masik supports and backbrace? A I would need to sew to the frame through the skin.
Has this been done? I am using the Morris book, on this one but I have the Cunningham book as well.
Thanks in advance.
The pic is of poor quality but you get the Idea. My proud son in the frame.
Keep building, Elliott
