Has anyone had any luck trying to steam bend cedar strips. I am building my secound boat. Built a Georgian Bay that I had no trouble with. I am now building a "Wee Two" double paddle canoe from Rob Macs plans the bow and the stern seem to have compound turns and I am having alot of trouble bending the strips. How is cedar to bend in a steam bender. I have heard that light woods like cedar do not work well with steam.
