Material: Typical layup schedule

Does anyone know what a typical layup schedule may be for a molded fiberglass whitewater kayak. I want it as light as possible without using carbon fiber or kevlar. Thinking of using 2 or 3 layers of 6 oz. S-Glass. Do they typically use a sandwiched mat layer? Or maybe a 2 or 4 mil sandwiched coremat? How thick is a typical hull?

Thanks....Ross
