What I can't figure out is why boat manufacturers use webbing and slider adjustments for some footbrace set-ups,,I don't know if Seaward does,, but they could install the easiest and cheapest set up with 1/8" hollow braid Vectran using just the line and nothing else except a ss. eyeloop on the cable end with a constrictor splice to adjust for leg lengths. It retails for about $.35/ft and is as strong as the 1/16" ss. with no slop or stretch. I got into a Necky LookshaIII and it had easily 1 1/2" of give on both footbraces.
