: Gaps filled with a mixture of epoxy and wood flour end up being a lot harder
: then the adjacent cedar strips. This makes sanding a real challenge. Has
: anyone found a wood filler that when cured will have the look and feel of
: cedar and therefore be as soft as the surrounding cedar strips?

I used Zar latex wood filler and used latex artist colors to tint it to match the redwood strips. It has been in for 1.5 years with no proplems. It does some what stain so you must fully sand or tape off the good areas. Most wood floor guys use it on strip floors before the polyurathane finsh.
