Now that's really pretty! I love the look you got by placing the thin strips of dark wood between the lighter strips on the deck!

Well, now that we have ahwed and ohhed.. fes up: What is the weight (and when you find out - how does it paddle?) Joe's workmanship on the seat will be a perfect match to the care you applied to your boat.

I'd suggest you put your first scratch on it in private. Shed a tear, and then go out and have a ball with the boat.
