: CLC boats, www.clcboats.com has a sail rig, called the MK2...plans are available for the akas and amas, but it is set up for a stich and glue kayak, and may require some adaptaion for a skin on frame.

The only adaptation for the CLC rig is the installation of 4 eyebolts into the sheer clamps, 2 pairs forward of the cockpit and 2 pairs aft. On their demo boat a spacer is used between the crossbar and the deck, shaped to fit the curve exactly, and the attachment is made by lashing the crossbars to the eyebolts. The same method could easily be used on a SOF, and the eyebolts could even be removable.

The rudder is another story, though I have seen rudders on some Alaskan native baidarkas.
