I'll second Mitch's remarks. However, after talking with Vaclav, I decided to build the Cape Ann Storm. (Just separated the deck and hull from the molds last night). I'm 6'1". 220lbs. size 11 feet. Settled on the Storm since I'll primarily be using it for day paddling, camping 1-2 times/season, maybe fishing. The Cape Ann is designed specifically for your kind of application, you may want to consider the Storm. Vaclav is great to deal with and the plans and instructions have been very well layed out. The only consideration is time, although working 1-2hrs/day, I started actual construction of the Storm mid-September and am now ready to glass the inside of the hull. I did some minor decorative strip inlay and about 40 abalone diamonds inlayed throughout the deck.
