Here's something to think about on routers

In Response To: Buying a table saw & router- help! (Kurt)

I have a Bosch 3 HP plunge router that is a real workhorse, and an old Craftsman that I dedicate now mostly to cutting dovetails. The bit is set and it's so much trouble to get it right that I try to leave it set.

I also have a small trim router- can be used in lots of places with one hand. It'll run a 1/4 roundover or a flush trimming bit easily and is so easy to handle that I find myself grabbing it any time I can. Now that I have it in the shop, if I didn't have it I'd have to go buy one :).
