I agree. It's kind of like...I have spent so much time and effort on this boat that I want it to always look great. However, I really enjoyed and appreciated Nick's last paragragh in the building section of his book where he says something like 'after that first scratch "your boat in now completed."

So, I'm going to paddle it! Gee, I hope it floats!

silicones come off with great difficulty
