Advice? - Got the racing bug, need fast kayak

Well it's time to start the new winter project. This summer I've been flatwater racing "Spike" (S&G, CLC Cape Charles, 15.5', 40 lbs.) and have caught the racing bug. She's a great boat (really draws a crowd) but not for racing. (One race that I lost they gave me a prize anyway because I had "the prettiest boat"!) But that's not satisfying my speed need. Don't want a Mariah Carey (very unstable) or a Liz Taylor (it may dump you at any time) kind of boat but one that is speedy, tracks well and I can handle (5'6", 150lbs.) S&G or stripper I'm ready for anything. Any suggestions? Anyone else out there racing?
