Hi Scott
I have used some more PVC fabric slung from the lower chines to give a sort of sitting hammock which works pretty well if you dont weigh too much (I often tuck a little piece of foam on top of the keel as well. More recently used some thin ply and wedged it between the chines to give a curve that just touches the keel. 4oz glass either side (while it is in that curved postion---dont forget to tape your chines and keel to stop it sticking)and then epoxy it into place. Both these techniques keep your weight low in the boat, but so does the method Tom describes in his manual. I just wanted something a little simpler than more bolts and such.
cheers
David
