I would stay away from the Citrus "goo-off type cleaners" but I think im partial because I cleaned up some tape residue with that particular cleaner and then applied another coat of epoxy to which it had a bad reaction to, my stupidty really since I didn't clean off the citrus cleaner well enough. Im sure it won't hurt the epoxy like other solvents will, but it just seems like theres other things to use that are safer.
I say acetone, its the safest solvent for anything that doesn't get along with "oils" well ie....epoxy
Just don't light up and throw the match into a trash can with the rag!

: Lacquer thinner works fine and won't hurt the epoxy. Acetone will dissolve
: cured epoxy if it's exposed to it for any length of time. Fortunately,
: it's so volatile that it evaporates in a few seconds.
