Looks like I'm a bit thin compared to your lay-up. I pulled the molds and the center which will be cut out seems way to flexy, but the drop and curve seem okay considering that the rim for the KajakSport hatches is stiff. I'm tempted just to leave as is, but I think I'll add extra layers of 6 ounce to the outside to seal the wood edges and add a bit more stiffness.

It's good to have these numbers for reference on the rim. I do have some epoxy mat which would really add some thickness.
