on bare wood you would have noticed the strokes a lot less, remeber that black its nasty when it comes to hide it under something else. And if you use a squegee its even more difficult to get it uniform, so dont worry about it.
As i told in other post i think the best results would be with bigger stuff, in your case id seriously consider a small electric mixer.
My hull will be all white not just under the waterline and ill try a "donut icing" method for the first coat: precoat the hull with glass, spread the "icing" once set blow off the excess (i think ill vacuum it, dont want to waste my pound of stuff), and then go on top with rollers for the mixture, been told it will work perfectly, well see.

Thanks for gunea-pigging this though. Im pretty sure the stuff will work but its still nice to have a tester opinion.
