S&G: Hatch Delamination *Pic*

I am in the process of re-varnishing my Artic Tern. While trying to remove the blocks that Pygmy uses to apply extra pressure to the straps that hold down the hatches, I heated the area with a heat gun to loosen the epoxy. I think I applied too much heat (dumb?) and delaminated the area near the block. The attached picture shows the delamination. What are my options for this? Any quick fixes? In addition it looks bad and I don't really want to just varnish over it.
Thanks for any suggestions.
