Hi Lloyd
I suggest you build a Ted Moores strongback with a 12" top. It will serve as a 16' work bench for scarfing panels etc, the wide deck provides for clamping all along on both sides, such as cutting out the panels, fairing and drilling
the holes, gluing, and a good work surface for shaping paddles
3/4" plywood is less than $25 here in FL,getting a very versitile workbench for $50
Its a very good strongback as well
