Strip: Ash Coaming Lip

I need to special order a piece of Ash for my coaming lip and was wondering if anybody could recommend how much I need. My bow and stern stem pieces have already been completed with white pine, so it's unlikely I'll use any that's leftover. I would like to just use white pine but from what I've read it needs to be about 1/16" thickness to safely bend it.

I'd like the lip to extend out about 3/4" in thickness and be about 1/2" in height. The final lip dimensions will probably be somewhere around 32" long by 17" wide.
