They have found over 100 of these "Kilt a Bare...Dan'l Boone 1767" carvings. Don't think Daniel Boone himself ever said he carved any of them. Funny how these keep popping up when the lawyers never found any indication that he had ever marked any claim on any land in Kentucky-that's why he moved to Missouri and refused to be buried in Kentucky (they stole his body).
