In Response To: Mine snapped right off... (Jesper Bach)

What he said. Hull first, whack the forms, re hot glue as needed to keep the forms on the hull then do the deck.

Glass
Pry as needed.
Paddle
repeat.

I use an external strong back myself, but I still do the same thing when I finish the deck, but he hull holds the forms without a strongback in place.

: When i lifted the hull off the forms and strongback (i decided to take the
: hull first, as it felt most ridgid), i had to wiggle it back and forth,
: and give the forms i could reach through the hatch opening (which i had
: precut loosely) a good whack with a hammer.

: As the hull was loosened from the 4-6 largest forms, the rest gave way
: easily. Only the bow took a good careful 15 minutes prying with a long
: stick and some nerve-wrecking hammering on it, to loosen. To avoid this,
: you could use internal stems.

: If the edges of your forms are coated with ducktape, you will have no prolems
: :-)
