John,

I've just finished building a Guillemot Double and from memory when I was setting up the forms (almost a couple of years ago now !) I found this same discrepancy and adjusted the height of the end forms as Mike suggested. It turned out OK in the end!!

Pat

: I am pretty sure that there IS a 2' discrepency between the DWL height on the
: hull table of offsets and the DWL height on the end form offsets. The end
: form DWL is 2 inches higher. The thing to remember is that the DWL of the
: hull offsets is not indicating where the strongback is positioned. See
: what happens if you leave the stongback on the DWL for the end forms and
: draw the strongback cutouts 2 inches higher than the DWL on the hull
: forms. It's a little hard to think about this without seeing the parts in
: front of you; I might be backwards in how I'm explaining this but if you
: have the forms in front of you it should start to make a bit of sense.
