You can force the hull/deck to meet now, but you will pay later when
the sun heats your deck and the exterior glass under stress, releases and pops
away from the resin. This will look like little white spots. To fix this you'll have
to remove the glass.

Or, you can sand off the glass on the inside surface of the deck and wet the wood
to expand it where it needs to be then reglass the interior.

heat the clamp a little if you are worried
