I can't advise on strippers but can on S&G. If the warp is really bad that a lot of force has to be applied to get it to mesh with the deck then I'd say use heat to remove the glass, break the joints and reglue. If it can be forced then use the heat methods that the others are suggesting. Recently I had to mesh a S&G deck and hull that had some serious warps between them. I used gentle force and some prying to get them to work. Go through the images to find the ones that show what I did.

heat the clamp a little if you are worried
