I am a fan of finding good quality old machines and tuning them up. I have a TS, RAS and really cool combination machine (jointer, thickness planer, shaper, horizontal mortiser) all accquired this way.

I haven't seen any band saws in the local classifieds recently, and thought I'd splurge on something new.

My immediate need to cutting out some forms, but after that it will get used for all other traditional band saw jobs.
