I just bought my glass last week, 6oz 60" wide, 14 yds long, gives me 2 yards for extra's (combing, etc) that allows enough that any scraps are just that, scraps for the next boat. My brother and I are splitting a 5 gallon kit of epiglass but figure we may need as little as 1.5 gal but since these are our first and the 5 gal kit was on sale and hopefully we are going to build second boats soon after( sqirts maybe). Hope that helps.
