I keep finding myself agreeing with Nolan's advice.

By the way there is an article by Aime Fraser in a recent issue of Wooden Boat magazine about glassing small boat (like kayak) hulls that is worth reading.

I think Nolan's about right in estimating that you'll spend about 2 hours epoxying if it's your first boat. I'd plan on spending that much time getting everything set up just right before you mix the first batch of epoxy. I always like to lay out everything that I'm going to need beforehand. Doing this takes some time, but it helps me get in the right frame of mind, knowing that I've done everything I can to make the job go smoothly. It really helps to allow enough time and to be calm and relaxed about the whole process.
