I may be wrong on this, but I believe the white foamy epoxy you scrape off and discard is not just loaded with air but also loaded with particles of glass as well as finishing agents that are used in the production of the cloth. This is why we wear a mask when handling glass cloth. No matte how hard I mix or beat my epoxy, I cannot get it to foam and turn white like it does when you squeege off the extra when glassing. Some of it may be air but I believe there's a lot of particles in it. You may not notice the difference once the air disipates but I wouldn't gamble on my glass work with it. Use it on your garden tools or coat your saw horses.
