Isn't antifreeze colored?

We were looking for penetration of color deep enough to allow sanding after staining. I think the RIT dye would penetrate deeply if the wood is allowed to soak for two, three, or maybe even four weeks at a time. It may be advisable to put the wood into a fresh batch of dye every week or so to keep the dye replenished (it seems to lose its collor as it soaks into the items being dyed.
