Why would the widthe be a problem? Is it because of paddling ergonomics

How about the Great Auk scale proportionally down in size to match a 120 lb paddler?

How about George Roberts' little whitewater boat?

I realize that both are strip built, not s&g, but it's just a suggestion. I'd go for the Pygmy Goldeneye 13 as was previously suggested. I like the way it looks. Unless I had time for a strip built boat, that is.
