My intent was to model the hull shape (specifically the back half of the hull) after windsurfers/surf boards since (if it works) I'll be primarily planing on the face of waves.

I'll admit that I have no knowledge of hydrodynamics, I'll be flying by the seat of my pants using my previous experience surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, and a foolish belief that if I can just build the picture in my head - it will work (sound familiar Mark??)

What the heck, it's only time and $, Mark
