More testing is a good thing. RIT dyes also come in liquid concentrates, which I didn't try out. The use of alcohol instead of water sounds interesting too.

The bleed testing will be limited due to the fact that I don't want to sacrifice too many of my daughter's blocks (I cut them from Home Depot "Whitewood studs"). I wish I knew what kind of wood it is.
