Wayne,
Needing some angled 1" PVC conduit at a remote site, I stuck it up the tail pipe of my idling pickup. Three minutes later al dente. Worked later on 2" conduit. Leaving it up there five minutes I could make my own female end fittings. You've got to get past the carbon staining though.

If you have access to a tablesaw it might be easier to slot your pipe by fixing a pin or short splitter after the blade to catch the slot and guide the cut.
