First Launch.....

We put into Hingham Harbour early Sunday Morning....the bay was mostly calm...some chop and some swells. The day was just about perfect.

The Baidarka tracked very well. It handled very well, turned very slowly, but was very easy to put on edge.

I recommend the design, the initial stability was good, the secondary stability was very good.

The boat is 17'4" and 23" wide. I believe that you can order plans as long as 19' and as narrow as 19".

I suspect that all the good points are due to Eric's design and very little is due to my building skills.
