Tom, I just started a Cormorant 16 and plan to strip the deck. How did you handle the shear? Did you glue shear clamps to the hull panels? I plan to paint the hull and varnish the deck and to install rub rails. So I want the deck strip to extend over and cover the raw plywood edge of the hull side panel. I'm currently thinking just glue in shear clamps a la a plywood deck and plane them to shape after installing some temporary deck beams to use as forms. Your thoughts?
